Students Honored for Exemplary Service
From their hometown parishes to the
mountains of Ecuador, students at Divine Savior
Holy Angels High School reach out to people in
need. Sisters of the Divine Savior honored 25 DSHA
seniors with the 2011 Salvatorian Service Award
for going above and beyond in service to the
poor and vulnerable . The award was initiated in
1988 to celebrate the Salvatorian Sisters' 100th anniversary.

Kathie devoted 25 years of service to the
Development Office of the Sisters of the Divine
Savior, and was a proud '60 alumna of Divine
Savior High School.

God's holy angels will lead you home to the wide waiting arms of the Lord.
DSH No Longer Little Hospital on the Hill
Divine Savior Healthcare was awarded the Business Excellence Award at the annual meeting of the Portage Area Chamber of Commerce. In presenting the award, The chamber said Divine Savior Healthcare is no longer a little hospital on the hill, but a thriving health-care system that has improved the quality of life for many who live and work in the Portage area. The Tivoli addition was cited as an impetus for the award.

The Sisters of the Divine Savior have received a
$10,000 grant to assist our UZIMA Nutrition Centre
in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The UZIMA
Nutrition Centre offers pre-birth consultation for
women, vaccinations, weight control of children,
nutrition for undernourished children, pre-school
consultation, and a laboratory for blood tests for
children and women. February

Residents of Divine Savior Healthcare former nursing
home move into Tivoli, a new extended care
facility located south of the hospital.
