Sister Barbara Reynolds, SDS

Sister Barbara Reynolds, SDS, received two awards at the recent Cardinal Stritch University’s Thanks and Giving celebration which honored faculty and staff for service. Sister Barbara was honored for thirty years of service and then as the first Distinguished Scholar award recipient. She was nominated for the latter by her Department Chair Dr. Catherine Kiaie.

 In 2008, she was presented with the Educator of the Year by CSU students. She is a mathematics and computer science teacher and holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from St. Louis University.

 Sister Barbara’s Department Chair and fellow faculty member Dr. Catherine Kiaie said, “She is unlimited in her mathematical and teaching talents and her energy for life. She is the quintessential example of persistence and hard work. Sister Barbara’s presence is light-giving and light-bringing to all who know her.
