Sponsored Institutions
The Sisters of the Divine Savior own and sponsor institutions
that support our charism and mission, the needs of society
and our Church. Sponsorship is a means of influencing
the mission, character and philosophy of an institution.
Sponsorship describes the relationship between a ministry
(health care or education) and a religious community.
It expresses a bond or promise between us to focus on
mission, stewardship, the dignity of each person and
lay leadership. Our role as sponsors is rooted in the
mission of Jesus and Church, which is to be a sign or
witness to God’s saving work. We sponsor by standing
with and supporting each of our institutions.
Today we sponsor Divine
Savior Healthcare, Portage; Divine
Savior Holy Angels High School, Hadley
Terrace Senior Apartments and St.
Anne’s Salvatorian Campus - all in Milwaukee.
Collaboration with laypersons has been an integral part
of our mission and ministries. This partnership continues
to be part of our apostolic work. In the United States,
our ministries include education, health care, housing,
religious formation, spiritual direction, pastoral care
and social work.

In 1923, Divine Savior Nursing Home began as a
home for frail women. When you walk through the
doors of the Divine Savior Health Care Facilities
you can feel the deep caring concern of all the
staff. More...
