Advent Reflection
We are to prepare to welcome our Savior. The ministry of John the Baptist
reminds us that we must continually prepare ourselves to welcome our Savior when
he returns. John preached repentance and charity toward one another. His
teachings are still relative in today's world. Clinging to sinful and selfish
ways can keep us from unity with our Lord, Jesus Christ.
We heard in Gaudate Sunday's readings that the Lord is with His people and
that this is happening through Jesus. We hear of John the Baptist teaching about
loving and caring for one another.
