Sister Barbara Reynolds is the recipient of the 2009 Distinguished Scholar Award at Cardinal Stritch University. This award is a distinction bestowed on the best of the University's academic faculty.

Congratulations to Sister Mary Ruth Dittman, SDS,  who has been selected by the Diocese of Phoenix Catholic Charities to receive the Special Tribute Award for a Lifetime of Charity and Justice. Sister will receive the award at the Annual Awards Dinner on April 14.

Sister Clarice Steinfeldt, SDS, will be demonstrating Scherenschnitte, German papercutting,
at the Germanfest in the Cedarburg Cultural Center in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, on Saturday,
July 19, from 10am and 4pm.

Sister Clarice Steinfeldt, SDS, will be showing some of her paper cuttings at the United Methodist Church, 819 E. Silver Spring Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The 39 Piece Paper Cutting Exhibit will open June 16, 2008 and will close August 18, 2008. All are welcome. For more information, please call 414.461.6446.

The obituary of Sister Elizabeth Oliver, SDS, was featured in the Superior Catholic Herald.

We thank the College of Nursing Alumni Association Midwest Chapter for featuring Sister Letty Regala, SDS, and her vocations story in their recent convention souvenir program. The conference was held in Chicago, Illinois.

The Wyoming Catholic Register featured Sister Nelda Hernandez, SDS in the August 15, 2007 issue. A native of Laramie Sister made her profession of Perpetual Vows this summer in Wisconsin.
