The completion of Hadley Terrace was the realization of a twenty-five year dream of the Sisters of the Divine Savior. With the assistance of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), we are able to offer affordable and supportive housing to low income seniors in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Each of the Sixty, one-bedroom apartment is about 560 square feet and includes a kitchen, living and dining area, bedroom, full bathroom and two spacious closets.

Part of the Salvatorian Mission is to promote the dignity of each person. Hadley Terrace offers adults sixty-two years and older, independence, along with companionship and security. The apartment complex is open to any person who meets the HUD federal low-income eligibility guidelines. Hadley Terrace is operated according to the Fair Housing Act and the Wisconsin Open Housing Law.

Hadley Terrace features include:

• On-site management
• Secure entrance/ reception office staffed round the clock
• Utilities 
• Common activity room
• Air conditioning and heating controls in each unit
• Emergency response system
• Sprinkler and fire alarms in each unit
• Social and recreational activities
• Laundry facilities on each floor
• Optional community meal, health and social services programs
• Convenient bus and transportation services

The Salvatorian Sisters have been committed to the care of the elderly for over 100 years. We are grateful we can expand our ministry to senior adults in the City of Milwaukee. Each of us treasures a healthy, independent lifestyle. Hadley Terrace offers each person an option to continue to be independent and also be part of a supportive senior community.
