A Legacy of Faith
St.
Anne's Home for the Elderly (now St. Anne's Salvatorian
Campus) began in 1876 when six Little Sisters of the
Poor arrived in Milwaukee and opened a home for the
aged poor. The facility has been at its present site
since 1967. The Little Sisters of the Poor served the
elderly with exceptional care and compassion for over
a century. A major milestone was reached in the history
of St. Anne's in 1992 when the Little Sisters invited
the Sisters of the Divine Savior to assume the religious
sponsorship of the Home.
Salvatorian Sisters working side by side with a dedicated
administration, a dedicated staff of lay women and men,
a Board of Directors and volunteers share St. Anne's
legacy of faith. Through this collaborative effort,
we are able to maintain our long-standing commitment
to excellence in care for the elderly. Daily Mass, a
vibrant sacramental life, and outstanding activities
programs help to enhance the lives of our residents.
Today the St. Anne's Salvatorian Campus accommodates
more than 100 nursing home residents; twenty-five assisted
living apartments; and the Salvatorian Sisters Residence
for thirty-six of our retired and independent Sisters.
St. Anne's offers a commitment to its heritage by offering
exceptional services while striving for ever-increasing
excellence in resident care.
