Worldwide Mission

For more information, please visit : www.congsds.org

As an international Congregation, the Sisters minister in 24 countries on five continents. They bring Gospel values to the poor and help empower them to develop their own resources.

In Tanzania, the Congo, and Mozambique, the Sisters' work consists primarily of preparing lay leaders to serve as midwives, to teach in domestic schools and to prepare adults for the sacraments. In Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India, Taiwan and Pakistan, they visit the homes of Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu, and Christian alike. Their focus is to be with the people in the midst of severe suffering and poverty, while respecting their faith traditions.

In the Philippines, Brazil, Colombia and Ecuador, the Sisters engage in various apostolic activities, directing their attention primarily to those who are victims of injustice.

In Israel and Syria, Sisters are symbols of harmony between Arab and Jew, Roman Catholic and Assyrian Orthodox. They conduct a school for 2,000 Arab children and a nursing home for elderly Arabs.

In Albania and Romania, the Sisters engage in health care, catechetic and youth work among the people who suffered under communism for over 50 years and who continue to face the challenges of conflict and spiritual deprivation.

We invite you to join us, support us financially and pray with us
that the Church's needs are met.
