Stewardship
The Sisters of the Divine Savior are members of the
National Catholic
Development Conference. We are stewards of all that
we receive and pledge to use our resources responsibly.
We pledge to engage in sound investment practices, ethical
business practices and to avoid unfair competition in
the commercial market place.
- Our requests for support are truthful, forthright,
theologically sound and in good taste.
- Funds collected are used for the intended purposes
and are not absorbed by excessive fundraising costs.
- We have the approval of appropriate religious authorities
to raise funds.
- Our parent organization or institution is specifically
listed in the Official Catholic Directory. Our development
office, if under a different name or location from
the parent organization, is also listed.
- Our institution or organization reports to its
governing body at least annually and the names of
said body are filed annually with the NCDC office.
- An accountability statement (financial report)
is available to our donors and is provided to the
NCDC office annually. A detailed financial statement
is provided to our governing body and appropriate
religious authorities annually.
- We do not engage in agreements which directly or
indirectly base payment to a commercial firm, individual,
or organization on a percentage basis.
- We agree to honor any written request to remove
a name from our mailing list. our mailing list will
at all times be within our full ownership and control.
