Donating appreciated stock is another way to expand your charitable giving. If you have owned a stock for at least one year and wish to donate it to the Salvatorian Sisters, contact Development Director Lora Rosenbaum at 414-466-7414.

The Charitable IRA rollover has been extended through legislation signed by President Obama.  It allows individuals 70½ or older to make tax-free gifts up to $100,000 to qualified charitable organizations, including Sisters of the Divine Savior. Using funds transferred directly from an IRA, you can make a contribution for this year anytime between January 1 and December 31, 2011. Contact your IRA custodian now to begin the process.
