ICPN: Inter Community Pre-Novitiate

Part of the formation process is participation in the ICPN. Candidates and Directors from throughout the Midwest have opportunities to learn and share.

Composition:  Directors and candidates from the following communities participate:
Salvatorian Sisters 1 candidate
Salvatorian Fathers and Brothers 2 candidates
Sisters of Christian Charity (IL) 2 candidates
Sisters of Providence (St. Mary of the Woods, IN) 1 candidate
Holy Spirit Missionaries (IL) 1 candidate
Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate (IL) 1 candidate

Meetings:
This group meets 7 times a year for a weekend at Siena Center in Racine, WI.

Topics covered by invited presenters:
Transitions
Multi-cultural living with a focus on the “culture of religious life”
Discernment
Community Living/Conflict resolution skills
Intimacy/sexuality
Art and Spirituality
The Journey Continues (this session is planned by all the candidates to reflect the topics covered throughout the year as exemplified in their founder/foundress.)
