Project Light

Project Light of Manatee, Inc. is a non-profit, adult literacy program in Bradenton, Fla. that offers flexible tutoring programs in English as a second language (ESOL). It was established to respond to the unique educational needs of migrants and other economically disadvantaged adults. The ESOL classes can also incorporate basic math and other skills needed for the GED or citizenship exam. Lay Salvatorians Ann and Ed Griffin were among six co-founders back in 1995. In 2003, Project Light became a collaborative ministry of the Salvatorian Family of priests and brothers, sisters and lay men and women.
