SDS Hope House, Inc.

SDS Hope House, Inc. offers a safe, homelike atmosphere to women transitioning out of emergency housing after rescue from situations of enslavement and oppression. Hope House, located in northern San Diego County, accommodates five adult women and two in-house staff. Women may stay up to 24 months. The goal is to achieve independent living by utilizing vocational or educational opportunities.

Services include:

  • • Counseling and psychological needs assessment
  • • Health and wellness training
  • • ESL and life-management skills
  • • Verbal, reading, writing and math skills
  • • Computer training
  • • Resume writing and interviewing skills
  • • Job search and employment guidance

SDS Hope House, Inc. is staffed by members of Salvatorian Advocacy for Victims of Exploitation (SAVE).
