SDS Hope House, Inc.

SDS Hope House, Inc. offers a safe, homelike atmosphere for women transitioning out of emergency housing after rescue from situations of enslavement and oppression. Located in northern San Diego County, Hope House accommodates five adult women and two in-house staff. Women may stay up to 24 months. The goal is to achieve independent living by utilizing vocational or educational opportunities. SDS Hope House, Inc. is staffed by members of Salvatorian Advocacy for Victims of Exploitation (SAVE).

Services include:

  •  Psychological needs assessment and counseling
  •  Health and wellness training
  •  Tutoring in ESL and life-management skills
  •  Verbal, reading, writing and math instruction
  •  Computer training
  •  Coaching in resume writing and interviewing
  •  Job search and employment guidance
