Birthday Goodness and Kindness: Sister Rita

I learned the goodness and kindness of Jesus at a young age. While attending prep school for four years in Milwaukee, my parents tried to make my birthday special even though they didn’t live near-by. Every year, my mother would send me a box of homemade divinity fudge. It was a simple gift but to know she took time out of her day to make me a birthday gift meant the world to me. Acts of goodness and kindness do not need to be grand; they just need to be from the heart.
