Birthday Memories: Sister Rita

On March 17th, 95 years ago I, Sr. Rita, was born to Adam and Mary Faust in a country farm house in Elkhart Lake, Wis. One of my most memorable birthdays was spent at St. Mark’s School in Rothschild, Wis. in the early 1970s. Sr. Mary Jo Stoffel was stationed with me that year. She surprised me with a birthday cake the shape of a butterfly. The cake was 18 inches x 18 inches and decorated most beautifully.
