Catholic Sisters Week: Celebrating Sister Virginia Honish, SDS
by Katie Klinger Leszczynski
As an alumna of Divine Savior Holy Angels High School (DSHA), and current faculty member, I want to say thank you to the Salvatorian Sisters for always being so kind, caring, passionate, and supportive of the mission of DSHA. We would not be here with your core values and dedication to educating young women. As a student, I received the Salvatorian Service Award and I will never forget my interview with a sister, as she asked questions about my work, genuinely listening to my experiences and wanting to get to know me better. Specifically, I want to thank Sister Virginia Honish, as she was my principal for three years before she retired. What a blessing to our school community. Thank you!
Let’s show the Salvatorian Sisters we call our friends, family, and mentors, our love and appreciation during Catholic Sisters Week.
This Catholic Sister Week, March 8-14, take time to express your gratitude for the living Salvatorian Sisters who have positively impacted your life. All messages, reflections, and photos will be shared with the Sisters and have the potential of being shared on our website & social media during Catholic Sisters Week.
