Celebrating Jubilee – North American style

Our internationality was shining through as Sr. Shiroma Kurumbalapitiya, SDS celebrated her 25th Jubilee with Salvatorians from throughout North America last Saturday. Our sisters, priests, brothers and Lay Salvatorian women and men gathered with family and friends for a joyous Jubilee Liturgy and luncheon at Sacred Heart Seminary Chapel in Hales Corners.
Sr. Shiroma is in Milwaukee this summer to assist our province with parish visits in behalf of our international missions. As she did back in 2012, Sr. Shiroma will share how our sisters in Sri Lanka minister to the worldly and spiritual needs of their local people. Her home province in Sri Lanka was established more than 50 years ago.
