Everyone at DSHA knows Sr. CJ

Who says Catholic Sisters aren’t a presence in Catholic schools in the new millennium? For the last nine months, Salvatorian Sister Carol Jean Zais (aka Sr. CJ) has been more than a mere presence at our sponsored all-girls high school in Milwaukee. As the school year draws to a close, the Divine Savior Holy Angels school community is honoring Sr. CJ for her dedication as a volunteer who’s ready to serve wherever she’s needed.  Her influence extends to faculty, staff and DSHA students throughout the halls of DSHA, as shared in this introduction to her award presentation:

This next volunteer has spent countless hours assisting on nearly all floors of the school! She spends at least four days a week in Advancement, Campus Ministry or Archives. She is up for anything to help out – from doing research to arts and crafts with the students. She has played a pivotal role in organizing many, many items of HA, DS and DSHA memorabilia. Thanks to her, we can actually begin to call this our Archives. She helps us celebrate and share the story of DSHA.  Her positivity, reliability and flexibility are greatly appreciated by everyone she works with. We are VERY lucky to have a volunteer like Sr. Carol Jean Zais here!
