Nuns on the Bus are talking to us
November 3, 2014
The Nuns on the Bus have rolled into Milwaukee to encourage all citizens to participate in our November 4 election. Their message: Low voter turnout hurts our democracy. We need 100% of the electorate committing to be voters to truly have a functioning democracy. Being voters means faithfully embracing the call to participation in our community. The Nuns on the Bus stop in Milwaukee began today with a noon rally at Milwaukee Area Technical College. Women religious from throughout Wisconsin will remain in Milwaukee through election day as part of the Wisconsin tour.
