Nursing Alumna Gives Back to the Salvatorian Sisters
Ann K. graduated in 1958 from St. Mary’s Hospital Schools of Nursing and Anesthesia in Wausau, Wis., owned and operated by the Sisters of the Divine Savior. Ann has named the Sisters of the Divine Savior to receive a planned gift.
“My time spent at St. Mary’s was the warmest time of my life. Through the years I’ve had a great marriage, loving family and amazing career, but I can honestly say I was the most content when I was at St. Mary’s. The Sisters were warm, loving and trusted mentors, and always there when you needed them. They provided me with the education to be a compassionate nurse who loved her job for 45 years. The Sisters instilled in us the dedication to work hard towards this vocation and to honor the glory of God and the salvation of our souls. The Sisters graciously and generously educated, mentored, and cared for all the nursing students. I wanted to give something back for everything they have done for me.”
