Grateful to Be a Sister of the Divine Savior
Today I pray for the students of DSHA
and I pray as a Sister to them.
You, Lord, gave me a vocation to live for others rather than myself. Years ago you taught me it is fulfilling, and I would have many happy moments living it out even if I did not yet know where it would be and with whom I would live. My life has been a discovery and I am thankful to you for
Let me use the moments I have in friendship to those I meet today. Years ago a younger Sister in the Community said to me, “Oh, I get this becoming a Sister! It means we are sisters with a small “s” to everybody!” Help each of us today to become the sister to those we meet.

God of hope and peace, touch our hearts and energize our ongoing efforts in abolishing human trafficking, a heinous crime against humanity, so that every victim is freed and every survivor’s life renewed. You blessed St. Josephine Bakhita of Sudan with compassion for others. May her prayers comfort and strengthen the women, men, and children…
Lord, Jesus Christ, Savior of the world,
In order to follow you faithfully,
and to dedicate myself to the service of Your Church
for the salvation of all,
I renew my sacred commitment to You as a Salvatorian.
