Sacred Heart honors Salvatorians with Award

Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology (SHSST) in Hales Corners, Wis. will present Salvatorian Sister Ellen Sinclair with the Dehon Distinguished Ministry Award at the annual Dehon Lecture & Awards Celebration on September 28.

Named for Father Leo John Dehon, founder of Priests of the Sacred Heart, the honor recognizes an SHSST alumnus for distinguished service to the Church and humankind.  Sr. Ellen will share the stage with Salvatorian Father Hugh Birdsall. Fr. Hugh is the recipient of the Archbishop Cousins Vocations Award for distinguished efforts to promote the priesthood among men over age 30.

Sr. Ellen is a 2004 graduate of the SHSST master’s program. She serves as Vicaress for our North American Province.
