Sr. Marie-Louise Yind, SDS

I am Sister Marie-Louise Yind. I was born on September 4, 1970 in The Congo. I entered the Salvatorian Congregation in 1990, and I took my final vows in 2000.

I came from The Congo to Tanzania to learn English because English is very necessary in our congregation. In The Congo I teach French and religion at our Salvator School. In our Salvator School we have 530 pupils around twelve to eighteen years old. And in the class when I teach, there are 35 students.

Marie-Louis-2In my family we are seven children: three brothers and four sisters. My parents were Ester Franscique and Fransis. My mother died in 1986 and my father died in 2001.

Our English lesson is very interesting. Now I know many things and much new vocabulary. Now I can understand some things in English.

I want to express much gratitude to our teachers, Madam Sue and Sister Barbara for their gift to English.

Thank you very much to the United States Region for your collaboration and for your initiative to teach us English.

In Christo.
