Call to Mission

Salvatorian Sisters follow in the steps of co-founder Father Francis Jordan as they respond to God’s call to consecrated life. “Using all ways and means the love of God inspires,” they nurture and share their special gifts to bring the goodness and kindness of our Savior to God’s most vulnerable people – wherever they find need.

In the early 1900s, Sisters of the Divine Savior came to North America to minister to the sick in their homes and later established hospitals. Again, in response to great need, education and parish schools also became a priority.

Today, the Sisters of the Divine Savior reflect  the joy, holiness and vitality of consecrated life as advocates for survivors of human trafficking, parish administrators and pastoral caregivers as well. Read more about three of these stories:
